Bridge

In the village of Ouaquaga in upstate New York, a new bridge was built across the Susquehanna River in 2008.  The old bridge was a one-lane open grate iron bridge built in 1888.  The new bridge has two lanes.
The winter  of 2007-2008 was a mild one and much of the work could be completed in January and February, offering a different perspective on the environment.

This series explores landscape, industry, and the figure together.
